Examination Schedule: Session 2025-2026
This page provides detailed information about the examination schedule for the current academic year.
Our examination system includes two main components: Internal Sessional Tests, conducted by the institute
to assess continuous learning, and the final All India Trade Test (AITT), conducted by the NCVT.
Disclaimer: All dates, especially for the AITT, are tentative and subject to change as per the guidelines of the
National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Government of India. Students are advised to check the official notice board
for final confirmation.
These tests are mandatory and form a part of your internal assessment marks, crucial for your final results.
- First Semester (Aug 2025 - Jan 2026):
- First Sessional Test: October 20 - 22, 2025
- Second Sessional Test: December 15 - 17, 2025
- Second Semester (Feb 2026 - Jul 2026):
- First Sessional Test: April 13 - 15, 2026
- Second Sessional Test: June 8 - 10, 2026
The AITT is the final examination conducted by NCVT for awarding the National Trade Certificate.
- Upcoming AITT (Jan/Feb 2026 for 1st & 3rd Semester Students):
- Practical Examinations: January 12 - 16, 2026
- Theory (CBT) Examinations: January 19 - 24, 2026
- AITT (July 2026 for 2nd & 4th Semester Students):
- Practical Examinations: July 6 - 11, 2026
- Theory (CBT) Examinations: July 13 - 20, 2026

All students must adhere to the following rules and regulations during examinations:
- Admit Card: The NCVT-issued Hall Ticket (Admit Card) is mandatory. Collect it from the institute office before exams.
- Reporting Time: Report to the examination center at least 30 minutes before the start time.
- ID Proof: Always carry your Institute ID card and a valid government ID (Aadhar Card).
- Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators (unless permitted), and other electronic devices are not allowed.
- Stationery: Bring your own pens, pencils, and drawing instruments for the Engineering Drawing exam.
- Attendance: A minimum of 80% attendance is required to be eligible for the final AITT examinations.
